Hi Wednesday! Whoa did this sneak up on us or what? Not complaining just almost forgot that today was Wednesday given the three day weekend! Here's my simple look for this week's Work It Wednesday (wearing my glasses that I actually wear 80% of the time)!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Little secret about today's look - I didn't actually end up wearing it to work! I planned on it but after washing and drying this skirt a few times it's a little too short in my opinion to be work-appropriate. So sadly I threw on trousers after coming to this realization, but I figured just for the blog I'd share my original outfit because I really do like it more, if only my skirt were 2 inches longer (that's what I get for throwing it in the dryer so many times). On the hunt for a new black pencil skirt! Suggestions?

A Little Bit of Weekend

Happy Monday everyone! This week will be a looong week for me (on call tonight and on call Saturday - which means no time off next weekend) so I made sure to enjoy the weekend I had! I went home to surprise my mom and grandma for mother's day and got to spend time with Dave and his family. Perfect relaxing weekend ❤

Casual Green and Black

A simple outfit I wore for running errands and doing a bit of shopping. This black jersey utility shirt is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces in my closet (I wore it last here traveling to Cancun) and tomorrow I'll show you how I dress it up a bit for Work It Wednesday! This shirt from Old Navy is perfect! Usually I wear an x-small there but I bought this shirt in a medium because I wanted it to fit more loosely and have that cool relaxed feel. I was looking for a shirt like this for a while and most of the ones I found ranged from $60 up - and no way will I ever pay that much for a shirt! This one? $20 well spent ;)

A Little Bit of (On Call) Weekend

Happy Monday everyone! How were your weekends? Friday night I was on call at the hospital (my first time) so I got to hang out there all night and Saturday I was post-call. It really wasn't that bad though, especially since Dave surprised me and was at my steps late Friday night when I got home! So despite not having a full weekend, we made the most of it!

Friday's Fancies: Going to the Derby!

Who am I kidding I'm not going to the Derby. I have no idea what it's about (well I know it's a horse race, and that it's tomorrow). But I do know that most of the people there are just going to wearing a big hat. At least that would be my reasoning for going - that and to have an ice cold Mint Julep (the official Derby drink). Bikinis Bikinis Bikinis

I showed you what I packed yesterday, here are a few pictures of my various bikini tops during vacation! The black bottom and black bandeau top are from Victoria's Secret, as is the leopard top, and the purple and gold fringe top is from Target. My cover-up is from JCPenney. Now that I'm on my medicine rotation these pictures make me want to go back to Cancun so badly!
