Over the
weekend we visited the crumbling Old Newgate Prison in Connecticut. I never intended to take pictures of this laid-back Saturday outfit, but once Dave and I got to our destination, we just had to snap a few shots. The first copper mine in America (1705), it was turned into the first state prison in the late 1700s. Sorry if you fell asleep at the keyboard with the mini-history lesson, but (nerd-alert) I love history!
