Weekend Recap

Monday, why are you always so eager to have your shine? Can't you let Saturday and Sunday have their time just a little bit longer? Probably not - this weekend was great despite its brevity. Friday Dave and I enjoyed our favorite pizza of all time - plain cheese from Bruno's. It seems really simple, but we look forward to this so much, especially since we've tried everywhere in Massachusetts and can't find anything that compares. We drank delicious red wine with this pizza (fancy, huh?), and then caught a late-night showing of Paranormal Activity 3. Saturday we went out for brunch, did some shopping, then enjoyed the gorgeous fall day. That evening we got ready for our first halloween party.

Dave and I had fun dressing up like zombies for our friends' party. It was sort of last minute but fun to put together (the costume I mentioned earlier is for our other halloween party this weekend). The concept was that we were a couple heading out to a fancy shmancy dinner and got attacked by zombies on our way there. Creative, huh? What can I say my creativity went towards the other costume! It was such a great night though. Sunday we grabbed brunch with the party hosts and then I caught an early bus back to Boston - I had Sunday dinner plans with my mentor doctor and her lovely family. Great end to the weekend. I hope all of your weekends were just as much fun!

P.S. did you see my dog being silly wearing his orange mask? I'm really thinking of making him an ewok for halloween. You know, from Star Wars? It was the role he was born to play.
