I think I've mentioned it already, but fall is my favorite time of year. I've crossed so many things off of my
fall to do list - the next one to cross off: think of cute couple's halloween costume. Last year my honey was Colonel Sanders (you know, the KFC guy?) and I was a chicken! It was so much fun going around thrift stores and craft stores to make the costumes! For Dave's outfit we thrifted a white button-up, white track pants (that he had to wear inside-out), a ribbon, and some old frames. For my outfit I used a plain white tank top, some boa feathers clipped to shorts, feathers in my hair, yellow tights, and yellow dishwashing gloves for my chicken feet! And of course a handmade KFC-bucket-purse. Best halloween ever! This halloween we're trying to beat last year's costume though, I can't wait to put it all together! The costume is still a secret of course ;) What were you guys for halloween last year? Anyone else do a couple's costume?
Oh my god this is too funny and adorable. Definitely did Peter Pan and Tinkerbell last year :P

Haa! I love that idea so cute and original. I would like to do a couple's costume this year- but I haven't figured out what. I am also thinking of doing Elvis- because when I wake up in the am my hair is pushed up and back in an Elvis pompador.

ReplyDeletei went as the chick from avatar last year. i got my hair braided and beaded. made huge ears. painted my entire body. it was the best costume i've ever had and now i have "costume block" as a result. don't be offended if i steal your chicken costume idea :)
