My eye only twitched once this weekend. This is great news, because for the past two weeks my left eye has been twitching non-stop. These fasciculations, or more specifically blepharospasms (you pay a lot of money for medical school to learn a lot of fancy words; I have to use them somewhere) are due to lack of sleep, too much caffeine, and stress.
So you can imagine why I'm so happy that the eye twitching has ceased. This weekend was perfectly boring in the best possible way. In celebration of fall (although it felt like a muggy summer day) we made this apple cider, and cuddled up watching movies.
We also ate apple cider donuts. I'm so thankful that my apple allergy means I can't eat the healthy raw apples, but I can enjoy all the sugary goodness of the donut kind.
My mom started putting up her fall/halloween decorations. Max doesn't like the black cat who lives in the pumpkin, he attacked it multiple times this weekend.
Sunday morning Dave and I got brunch at a little diner in town. Brunch is my favorite!
